Get to Pinning

Pinterest

Pinterest is a fun website for sharing and uploading photos of anything you want to be seen. Pinterest was founded in March 2010 by Ben Silbermann, Evan Sharp, and Paul Sciarra. People use Pinterest mainly for Do It Yourself or finding out about new things. I personally use Pinterest to get ideas about new things. Things like: tattoo ideas, hair styles, room décor ideas, work out exercises, outfits, makeup tutorials, etc. Pinterest has everything that you could ever be looking for.

Jalen Ryant: Drumming to Success

Jalen Ryant has been one with the drums since he was 3 years old and his passion for music comes from being brought up in the church.

Jalen Ryant is a Broadcasting major from Charlotte, North Carolina with an ear for music. He is a member of the Marching 101 here at South Carolina State University where he plays the snare drum.  His dream job is anything involving music and he has already created a brand called "C.H.O.P.S" which represents: character, humility, optimism, perseverance, and salvation. He essentially wants to use this brand to encourage musicians and help them grow to be better musicians. Ryant also wants to become an author and a motivational speaker to add to him being a musician, he doesn't want to be just a musician. Jalen Ryant being a native of Charlotte, a big market, will utilize his connections there first and further extend his brand then he may venture out to other states.

Tweetin on Twitter

The man behind Twitter, Jack Dorsey created this awesome social network on March 21, 2006. He got the inspiration from watching trains and he was fascinated by the idea of their communication and he wanted to invent a new way for people to communicate in their own ways as well. He has been fascinated with computers and computers programs since he was younger. He isn't very social, but he is a genius nonetheless.

Twitter is a pretty cool site. I don't use it as much as i use to when i was in high school. I mainly get on twitter to look at certain hashtags or see what my followers are talking about. Hashtags are trending topics that people come up with and get everyone to use them. I follow some celebrities and people from school.

You should be linked in to Linkedin!!!

Linkedin is a business site for companies and individuals to promote themselves in the professional world.  It is great for making new connections and getting a job. You simply sign up for the website by entering in your basic information and then you upload a picture of you that is business related, of course. Next, you create your profile by entering in your experience, groups or organizations you are in, volunteer work, pretty much anything that you can think of.

Linkedin was founded by Reid Hoffman, Allen Blue, Konstantin Guericke, Eric Ly,  and
Jean-Luc Vaillant in December 2002. The CEO is Jeff Weiner. It is a worldwide company with over 400 million users.

" Bulldog Walk" Fashion Show

In class, we were teamed up into groups to do a little project in the TV studio. We were to do something like an interview or anything of that sort. My team decided to do a fashion show instead. My team was composed of: Kyre Cox, Deliah Stroman, Mufasa Shaw, Ericka Moore, and myself. Ericka and I were in the control booth creating the wonderful show!

This was shot on the campus of SC State  in the TV studio. Ericka and I used the Tricaster system along with the studio cameras. The production was very fun and I'm glad that I was able to work with such a great team.
